CBRE Investment Management has named Vida Tandean as its head of Asia investments for indirect private real estate strategies, a role in which she is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing all aspects of the investment and asset management process for the indirect team in Asia.
Singapore-based Tandean brings expertise in private equity real estate investing across Asia, including equity and debt strategies, and investing across the risk spectrum and multiple investment formats.
Prior to joining the firm, she was a director within the UBS multi-managers real estate business, where her key responsibility was to source, underwrite and deliver innovative investment solutions on behalf of clients, including creating access to specialist markets and sectors that were not readily available in the region through negotiating and structuring partnerships with fund managers. Before joining UBS, she spent over 10 years at Aberdeen on their indirect real estate team.
Achal Gandhi, CBRE’s CIO, indirect real estate strategies, says: “Tandean’s long-standing experience investing across risk profiles and investment structures will further our ability to deliver strong investment outcomes for our clients.”
