Quor Group, a commodity trade risk management ( CTRM ) software provider, has appointed Steve Hughes as chief executive officer.
He joins Quor after a successful tenure as CEO of Beam Securities, CEO of Aspect Enterprise Solutions ( which he helped sell to ION ), and chief commercial officer of ION Commodities.
In his new role, Hughes will oversee Quor’s global operations as the company enters a new phase of growth.
His extensive experience in building and scaling software companies, combined with a deep understanding of the evolving financial and commodities landscape, will further solidify the group's position in the CTRM industry, Quor says.
