Indian multinational digital services provider Infosys has agreed to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT, a specialized digital transformation and consulting firm that provides technology solutions specifically for the healthcare industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Optimum offers comprehensive services including enterprise applications, digital transformation, and workforce management.
According to Infosys, the proposed acquisition will strengthen its healthcare capabilities, particularly in collaboration with health systems and provider organizations, to deliver measurable outcomes across complex clinical and operational environments.
Optimum brings deep provider-domain expertise and a proven delivery model, making it a strong strategic fit for Infosys' scale and healthcare growth strategy, the Bengaluru-based firm says.
Healthcare providers served by Optimum will now have access to Infosys' broader offerings, including artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and services, cybersecurity, and application transformation.
Investment bank Harris Williams advised Optimum Healthcare IT on the deal.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of FY 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and completion of closing conditions.
