Amundi names corporate clients head for Asia ex-China

Amundi has appointed Carine Souvannavong as head of corporate clients, Asia ex-China, effective immediately.

Based in Hong Kong, she reports to Eddy Wong, Asia chief executive officer, and Sandrine Rougeron, global head of corporate clients and head of liquidity solutions sales.

Souvannavong has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. In her new role, she will focus on developing new business opportunities with treasury, pension funds, family offices and reinsurance clients. Prior to joining Amundi, Souvannavong was a senior relationship manager at the corporate banking division of Citi in Hong Kong, managing a portfolio of client relationships across insurance, asset manager, bank, fintech, and broker-dealer segments.

Between 2009 and 2015, she also held sales positions at J.P. Morgan in London and Hong Kong, where she was responsible for developing cash, liquidity and trade solutions tailored to multinational companies.

Souvannavong holds a master’s degree in business administration from Inseec Business School in France, and a master of arts in international business finance from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom.
