RBC BlueBay Asset Management, which represents Royal Bank of Canada’s asset management division outside of North America, has appointed Camilla Love as head of Australia and New Zealand to lead its distribution strategy and client engagement across the region. Based in Sydney, she reports to head of distribution, Anthony Pickering.
Love has over 20 years of investment management experience and a deep understanding of the market. Most recently, she founded Alpencrest Capital, overseeing third-party distribution for alternative and capacity-constrained investments as managing partner.
She built her career at Perennial Partners, where she spent over five years as managing director of eInvest Australia, launching and leading Australia’s first active ETF-only investment brand, overseeing end-to-end operations and managing a team. Prior to starting eInvest for Perennial, she served as head of institutional business development, client service and account management.
Love holds an executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management from UNSW, a bachelor of commerce and bachelor of arts from the University of Sydney, with majors in marketing, economics and Asian studies, and has completed further postgraduate qualifications in applied finance & investments and management.
She is also the founder of F3, Future Females in Finance, a programme that seeks to foster the next generation of talent in financial service and designed for young women to uncover what it means to work in the financial services industry.
